Woke up last Wednesday morning to find about 30 cm of snow on the ground. Very unusual to see snow here in November, according to the locals they have never seen it at this time for at least 10 years. Luckily we had picked our Olives and several other groves as well. Lets hope that the usual predictions of a long cold winter don’t actually come true this year. The forecast for next week looks better and all the snow has already gone here though its still hanging on in San Ginesio and Amandola which are higher up than us. Pongo didn’t know what to make of it when i opened the door to let him out, he stopped dead in his tracks and did a quick reversal into his kennel to think about it.
